Air Travel/Ground Transportation

With an in-house, full service travel agency, APMI can proactively address clients travel needs in a timely and cost effective manner. By having, ready access to this in-house service, APMI collaborates directly with clients in the budgeting and planning phase, when operational insight can help develop an operational plan and control expenses. APMI seamlessly integrates the transportation component into the entire event project plan, decreasing time, effort, and expense of this service.

With access to an in-house travel service, there is greater latitude in addressing last minute changes prior to, during, and after a meeting or event. These changes can be the result of event scheduling changes, organizational re-balancing, weather, or carrier scheduling.

APMI has access to nearly every scheduled airline and air charter operation serving airports around the world. This level of access opens up opportunities to streamline travel times, decrease or eliminate layovers, as well as secure cost effective options.

The APMI personnel have the ability to negotiate with air carriers; securing favorable airfares for larger groups, chartering dedicated aircraft, or contracting corporate jets when the operational needs and fiscal situation requires. This ensures the most advantageous air travel solution is available to meet timelines and budgetary parameters.

Moving large numbers of attendees via coach, van, or car can be economically and operationally problematic. The APMI staff has experience in planning and conducting ground transportation operations in support of: airport arrivals and departures, off site excursions, off site dining, and convention operations.  

When using APMI the clients receive detailed manifest information about each attendee’s origination city, airline, flight number, departure time, arrival time, cost of airfare. The client as well as APMI personnel use this information when planning hotel arrival and departure operations as well as coordinating airport ground transportation.
